Landscape
When capturing landscapes, I usually try to capture the beauty in our landscapes so when I can, I capture the very extremes of our surroundings such as the deep blue skys and the silhouette trees.

Cartoon Compesition
For this, I used a digital camera and took a lot of shots with my friend with the intention of compositing in a character into the shot. For the photograph, we had to keep in mind that we need to have space for not only my model but also the character we were going to add in post. The photo you see here is two guys in a car, enjoying each others company. Shaggy was added in post and was drawn by me to preserve the quality of the shot. I used a stock image of a sandwich and added that in during editing as well. The final shot gives off a seamless shot as if Shaggy was actually in the car.

Toy Photography
This was shot with a digital camera and what I used as models were some of my Dragon Ball figures I have. I sketched out a thumbnail idea for the shot I wanted to achieve and had to set up the figures in pose and the lighting as well. The character to the right, Vegeta, was set up using a clear stand that was removed in editing. I later added effects of my own such as the energy orb the character to the left, Goku, is holding.

Illustrative Composition
I used a digital camera to shoot this. I wanted a candid shot of the Oakland University campus. I had an idea, similar to the character composition, where what if the people were animated. I wanted to give off sketchbook notebook paper, type of look with the blank people. It makes the people in the shot stand out and I personally think it’s a cool effect.
